Titled after one of my mom’s favorite tunes in her childhood, combined with Power Puff Girls charms from a bracelet. The power puff girls present themselves as role models gave me room to fantasize, imagine, dream beyond the material world. The Powerpuff Girls are three sisters. My sisters and I are also three sisters. The charms are weaved into the balloons to evoke moments of childhood joy, freedom, and childlike wonder. This piece is hand-built and colored with acrylics.
