The classic "flight or fight." response – I often freeze. The bird is hand-built shows signs of wear – the effects of mental illness began to appear physically. My body became weak as I struggled to care for myself after a traumatic experience, chipping away at the exterior. The piece is hand-built bisque fired to cone 10 and painted with acrylics
